Just installed the new Firefox Beta 3.5 on one of my employer's test stations.

I installed one of the early 3.0 betas and had to scrap it - none of my usual plugins were migrated yet and it was a little flaky. Do you think this one's solid and close to release-ready?
I'm getting sick of the massive memory leak(s) in FF 2, especially on my Mac at work. It's just a dog on that box, and it's a powerhouse machine.
I haven't used it enough to comment on stability yet, nor have I tried any plug ins.
I usually don't mess with Betas for just the reasons you mentioned, but our IT guy said "you just gotta try this" so I did (sheep that I am).
I never noticed any memory problems at all with any Windows box I've ever run FF2 in. Then again, I'm not a programmer.
I'll let you know if I find anything bad. Is there something you'd like me to try, other than installing plug ins?
Nah. I installed the beta on my laptop and am trying it out with a few of my plugins. It seems pretty stable so far, but the back button isn't coming up. I can still move back with key strokes, but that strikes me as a bug. :)
